College, Career, and Military Readiness & CIS Alumni
A recent study by the Search Institute found that only one-in-five at-risk youth could identify one trusted, caring adult in their lives. At its core, CISGTC exists to provide that trusted, caring adult to children who would otherwise not have one.
CCMR
Our College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) program works with juniors and seniors in the CIS program to help prepare and plan for their next steps after graduation. CCMR specialists provide students with opportunities to get hands-on experience in their field of interest, connect with community leaders across various professional fields, guide them through college applications, and prepare for their future as leaders and difference makers.
We currently provide CCMR services to over 100 students in ten campuses throughout the greater Tarrant County area.
ALUMNI
The CIS Alumni program is for any CIS student who has graduated or aged past high school. We are a community of support and guidance as you navigate the next steps in your life. The Alumni program is here to help you on your college or career journey, working to get you connected with professionals and leaders throughout the community. We are here to surround you with support and cheer you on to your next adventure!
